the Way to Costa Rica

Thanks to several complaints about file size, exposing everyone´s email etc, I have decided to share the "new life" pics here on the blog, pending the launch of the HowlerCafe website...
I am a few big emails behind, but wanted to get started, so ENJOY...
(yes, I will caption the new stuff)
I have chosen to not reactivate my Facebook account as the "college students" doing "homework" via Facebook has soured me to that social network. Feel free to comment on the pics as you see fit here..

Zazzalicious

This is the picture of my daughter that I ran through the Photoshop mill to put on a postage stamp using Zazzle. You will note there is no link to Zazzle, but not because I am lazy. I originally wanted to post a picture of the stamp, but discovered that my photo in their template is their
intellectual property and I can't drum up business for them by showing you how cool it is.
So, consider this base shot a placeholder until the stamps arrive and I can take a picture of them. Hopefully the xenon-gamma watermarking virus won't erase my SD card in the camera..

Hdr Photo Manipulation

Just started playing with this toolset, don't know jack yet, but should be fun! Here is a link to the Wiki on Hdr. Oh, the subject: That's Ariana, aka Corazon Suicide, from her Deactivated Robot set.

My Next Tattoo Template
The plan is the mounting plate in small of back, cables running to various plug-ins across body. Hopefully an exercise in negative space!

Guafa Trio

Fantastic Colombian jazz at the McCain Auditorium in Manhattan Kansas on the K State Campus.
Unadvertised show (at least to non students) but free...
3/4 full auditorium of students, adults, small children listened attentively to the magic. This was an all instrumental show, well received in spite of the foreign music form and the 1 word in ten English of the band.
Upright Bass, Flute, and Cuatro were the three instruments, I'll do some research and get the names and contact info of the group linked up later on today.
